Buck / Butterfield (Studios)

The Buck & Butterfield Art Studios were also built by Bennett Builders. Located up the mountain in Waiona Meadows each studio is 2,048 square feet. The studios are comprised of two buildings, one for each customer, connected by a covered walkway. Each has a small living area, but the interior is mostly open space. Being in such a remote location, it was necessary for the house to have its own electric and water sources. Atop the roof are solar panels, which capture energy from the sun and store it in battery cells for later use. If additional power is needed, there is a shed with an electric generator behind the house's large water tank.
