The Builder / Owner

George Bennett, owner and founder of Bennett Builders Ltd, directs and maintains our team of experts. Initially trained as an artist before entering the world of construction, George has a developed sense both for aesthetics and practicality. One of his greatest strengths is creative problem-solving, as he is able to find realistic solutions when challenges arise without neglecting visual aspects.

The Management Team

Dionne Otte, Operations Director & Sales: An experienced business manager, Dionne ensures that the projects are progressing within budget and on time, and that all financial reporting related to the jobs is done frequently and accurately. She is a licensed Real Estate agent and the lead sales strategist for Bennett Builders speculation projects. She is involved in all phases of the projects and interacts with the clients before, during and after Bennett Builders Ltd takes on the project.

Bobby Lutz, Project Manager: Bobby is the head of the construction team composed of our employees, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. Bobby surveys the plans, ensures that the construction materials are ordered and arrive at the job site a timely fashion. After the estimating phase is completed, Bobby accompanies the client through the building process and communicates frequently to ensure that each client is well updated on the progress of their new home. A veteran of the business, Bobby has been in construction for over thirty-two years; during which he has built eleven of his own spec homes, and has worked with various contractors and supervisors over the years in between his own projects.

Lee Coughanour, Estimator: Lee is the link between the construction team and our subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. Lee surveys the plans, requests bids from subcontractors, estimates the amount and cost of various materials, and ensures that these materials are ordered and shipped to Hawaii in a timely fashion. A veteran of the business, Lee has been in construction for over twenty years; during which he has worked with various contractors and supervisors over the years.

Michael Sean Garland, Design & Drafting: Sean is Bennett Builders Ltd's in-house draftsman and is the main force behind our design/build projects. Sean will interact directly with George, owner, and/or a building's architect to address challenges related to the design of the project. His unique blend of technical design skill and practical job experience makes him an invaluable asset to the Bennett Builders Ltd team.
